I find it interesting to see how metaphoric rocks are utilized heavily to make the end result aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I came to notice how my kitchen counter is marble!
Marble is a metamorphic rock. When my family would move house to house, my mother often took note of the kitchen counters. I did not understand at the time why she would always rush to examine the kitchen counters. Now that I am older, I see how she wanted the kitchen to be aesthetically pleasing to her because it is one step closer to her dream kitchen. I found it interesting how the type of metaphoric rock (marble is my mother's favorite) can make a major difference in the room.
