It is common to see people to take sides when it comes to the heated debate of religion and science. However, there is that middle ground between the sides that should be more known. I think of it like how one's faith is a big factor of how they believe in religion. "Even if you can't see it, you believe it." Someone's faith always has the possibility to be shifted and manipulated by factors in their life. It is a similar concept with science. There is always more evidence to be found.
The bible was written with divine inspiration. When it was said to be 6 days, who can surely know what length of time a day entailed. The bible has been translated different times and it could be possible that 6 days can be in a span of a million years, rather than the common belief that it could be in the consecutive snap of fingers. After all, with God, anything is possible.
